有一天，我載八十幾歲的母親去探望七十多歲的阿姨，因為阿姨最近都睡不好，氣色有點差，母親就一直勸阿姨應該多念佛，因為母親最近每個星期都會到觀音山中華大悲法藏佛教會的台中道場聽龍德 上師開示，雖然她聽不懂國語，但是母親說，她每次到台中佛堂參加完共修，都覺得精神非常好，心情非常愉快，在那裡，什麼樣年齡的人都有，有跟她們同年齡的，有像我這樣的中年人，有剛出社會的年輕人，也有七、八歲的小孩，佛堂裡的每個人都很客氣，所以她非常喜歡到台中佛堂參加共修。
我們去探望阿姨的時候，剛好快接近中元普度，母親告訴阿姨，龍德 上師有開示，人會生病、睡不好，有很多時候就是冤親債主來討債，所以，我們要趕快做功德還給冤親債主。阿姨一聽之下，馬上為自己和先生的冤親債主各辦一桌普桌。
已經連續五年都得靠著吃安眠藥才能入睡的阿姨，當晚竟然不用吃安眠藥就能入睡，阿姨當時直覺這一定是登記普度的功德，這個佛堂真的很感應，所以，她決定一定要去參加台中佛堂的普度法會看看。
普度法會當天，現場的人很多，但是都有招待人員引導我們要怎麼走，怎麼拜，每個人都笑容滿面的。一開始有人帶我們到一尊非常大尊的地藏菩薩像前拜拜，但是阿姨因為膝蓋功德退化，無法跪拜，只能合掌拜拜，沒想到，當她向地藏菩薩拜了三拜之後，整個膝蓋都變輕了，就好像年輕人一樣，走起路來變得非常好走。現場的普度供品全部都是素食的，且擺放得又多又整齊，一旁的義工告訴阿姨，這都是尊貴 龍德 上師的慈悲教導，我們不但要恭敬佛菩薩，也要禮敬鬼道眾生，中元節就是要普度眾生，與冤親債主解冤釋結，當然要用素食的供品，不能再造殺業。現場還有從西藏尼泊爾空運來台的轉經輪，還能浴佛及佛前供花、供水、供燈，也有很多精美的善書免費贈送給來參加法會的大眾，處處都能感受到佛教會舉辦這場普度法會的用心。
接著大家就一起誦經，因為阿姨不認識字，不會誦經，但是她說，她能感受現場的人都很虔誠，大聲誦經，誦經的聲音非常好聽，參加完整場法會下來，阿姨不但一點都不累，還覺得心情非常好。母親告訴阿姨說：這都是佛堂上師加持，阿姨也告訴母親，登記普桌及來參加普度法會，真的讓我覺得身心輕安，以後我每年都要登記您們觀音山中華大悲法藏佛教會的普度，希望大家也都能一起來參加這裡的普度法會。網路上也有其他師兄的分享可以參考
